Terms of Service

Last updated 31 May 2026

Draft — pending legal review. This is a working template reflecting the closed-beta founding model. Have it reviewed by a solicitor and complete the bracketed details before launch.

1. Agreement

These terms are between you (and the studio you represent) and [Company legal name] (“Plinth”). By creating an account or using the service you agree to them. If you’re accepting on behalf of a studio, you confirm you’re authorised to do so.

2. The service

Plinth is practice-management software for architecture and design studios — enquiries, projects, stage tracking, fees, team and an assistant connector. Plinth is in closed beta: it is actively being built, and features may change, break, or be added as we develop it with founding members.

3. Founding-member plan

4. 90-day refund

You can request a full, no-questions refund within 90 days of your first payment by emailing hello@plinth-studio.com. After 90 days, you can cancel any time to stop future renewals; we don’t provide pro-rata refunds for the remainder of a paid year unless required by law.

5. Your responsibilities

6. Your data

Your content remains yours. We process personal data as described in our Privacy Policy. You can export your studio’s data, and we maintain backups — but you are responsible for keeping your own copies of anything critical.

7. Availability & beta nature

We work hard to keep Plinth available and reliable, but during beta we don’t offer a formal uptime guarantee. The service is provided “as is” to the extent permitted by law.

8. Liability

Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law. Otherwise, to the extent permitted by law, Plinth’s total liability is limited to the fees you paid in the 12 months before the claim, and we’re not liable for indirect or consequential loss. [Confirm wording with legal.]

9. Suspension & termination

You can cancel any time from billing settings. We may suspend or end access for serious or repeated breach of these terms, with notice where reasonable.

10. Changes & governing law

We may update these terms as Plinth evolves and will note the date above. These terms are governed by the laws of [England & Wales], subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of its courts. Questions: hello@plinth-studio.com.
